Microsoft makes changes to financial reporting structure

From the many different business units of the past, Microsoft have now announced that they will align around three operating divisions for financial reporting:

• Microsoft Platforms and Services Division
  Windows and dev tools
  
• Microsoft Business Division
  MBS, Office, MSN, Live
  
• Microsoft Entertainment and Devices Division
  Home, entertainment, mobile embedded

ZuneLive will probably come under Microsoft Business Division with all the other online stuff, and the Zune itself under the Microsoft Entertainment and Devices Division. But this is just really for the money people and analysts. It is interesting to see such groupings though - it looks like if anyone tries to pull an antitrust type split up, that the structure will work independently of each other.
