Zune satellite radio - our thoughts

There are many discussions starting up about the Zune supporting satellite radio, but is this really likely to happen? We know that the Zune will be a global product, launched in the US in November, and the rest of the world during 2007. But US based satellite radio is only available in the US (and close areas as well, to be completely accurate).

It just seems mad for Microsoft to get a product out that will be mass produced globally with a US only feature as standard. It also means that the satellite radio people get your monthly sub and not the Zune Live store...

But maybe they are talking about a plug in module that uses the Zune as a slave display? If so: internal? external? other options for other regions? Hmmm....
