Still want to learn more about Zune? Zune.net is up today. It's got details and prices about accessories, information about concerts and artists sponsored by Zune and explanations of the product and download service.
In other words, it's mostly marketing/advertising/brand building stuff. But it's also where you'll be able to get the free Zune jukebox software after the portable device goes on sale Nov. 14.

First with that wiDock we saw yesterday, and now with this new wireless DAP from CAU Digital, it seems like no-name manufacturers are showing up Microsoft at its own game, by halfway integrating Zune should-have-beens into their otherwise boring products. This new mini DAP from CAU can share its audio wirelessly via some sort of 2.4GHz ISM wireless tech to two pairs of wireless headphones. Zune DJ mode this is not, but it's better than popping that waxy earbud into the ear of a friend. Once the novelty wears off, you can also play back videos on the device, but we're otherwise in the dark as to this player's capabilities, price and availability.

RealNetworks will continue extending its Rhapsody subscription music service to new devices, including two categories of mobile phones over the next 12 to 18 months, Senior Vice President Dan Sheeran said today.
"You'll see mobile phones come to market that fit both those categories,' Sheeran said during a presentation at the Northwest Entrepreneur Network's "Entrepreneur University" event at the Seattle Sheraton.
Rhapsody will go onto phones that can stream music stored on the network -- what Sheeran chacterized as the "celestial jukebox." The music platform will also be used on phones that can both stream network music and play music stored locally on the devices.
The phones with local storage are likely to use flash memory such as the Micro SD cards produced by SanDisk, one of Real's key partners as it moves its technology onto devices. SanDisk also manufactures flash-based MP3 players, including the first Rhapsody branded device introduced a month ago....

If you're genuinely frustrated with fuzzy (and "dangerous") FM transmitter results, and aren't exactly keen on wiring up a separate connection for each DAP you own, Integrated Mobile Electronics has your solution. In a presumed attempt to alleviate the frustration of priopritary DAP-to-automobile liaisons (and grab the entire market's attention), the startup has unveiled the iMe in-car docking station. The device, like most other hardwired options, will require a good bit of DIY handiwork (and Excedrin Migraine pills), but will apparently channel audio to your sound system and even video to your LCD-equipped whip. The package will reportedly support the Apple iPod / nano, Microsoft Zune (including the unannounced "80GB" version), Creative Zen Vision:M, SanDisk Sansa, and iRiver Clix right out-of-the-box, and even touts the ability to charge your device while docked. While it's being marketed as an end-all so...

Well look how almost every Zune commercial has folk-y indie rock going on, with white/hispanic kids breakdancing. It's as if the dancing is cool enough, but they don't want to offend the middle of the country with angry black music. There are maybe 6 black people across 5 commercials. Two dogs. No Asians. So: Dogs are a more important demographic to Zune marketing than Asians? There are about a hundred different white folk partying down like it's a minority-free Wonderland.
Even Apple knows to make everyone the same color in their animated ads, with cheery united colors of Benetton backgrounds.
Oh well...at least the Zune comes in black, brown, and white. –Brian Lam
