Some of the comments below indicate that the details of Zune sharing aren't completely clear. Let me walk through the Zune does and Zune doesn'ts...
Zunes have wireless built in. Zunes can thus set up "ad-hoc" (Zune to Zune) connections to one another. This enables the following scenarios:
You can search for nearby Zune owners to interact with. You can send them a song, album, etc... for a

So, now the Zune pricing for holiday is officially out. I got a lot of reaction in the comments section and I wanted to bubble them up into the blog...
Comment 1: "Hey, you said Zune wouldn't be undercut, but now you're at 249.99 vs their 249.00!"
Answer: Ok, you got me. I actually didn't realize there'd be a $0.99 price difference in MSRP when I posted, but I hope this difference won't turn

Although Microsoft hasn't released any official photos of the Zune accessories, Amazon comes through and fills us in on what these peripherals will look like. There's shots of the Travel Pack, including the pouch, AC adapter and USB connector, and shots of the Zune Home kit, which has the dock, a wireless remote, AV cables and the AC adapter. No ship date on these yet, but logically they should be released the same time as the Zune—November 14. – Jason Chen

The Zune accessories we showed you yesterday had a little typo, courtesy of their press release. The FM Tuner is supposed to be an FM Transmitter, you know, like the type to broadcast into your car's radio. The FM Tuner is the thing that's built into the Zune itself.
So sorry. Even Microsoft makes mistakes sometimes!– Jason Chen

The Microsoft Zune is going to ship with a micro-suede-like pouch, something the Apple iPod also shipped with circa 3G. And like the Zune itself, this pouch comes in three colors: white, black, and grey, and brown. And here it is, your moment of Zen. – Jason Chen

While Amazon has done a commendable job in (presumably) dispelling the hot air of a Griffin spokesperson, it's not always, um, entirely reliable. However, we'd bet the gallery of Zune accessories gracing its pages now weren't uploaded erroneously. Boasting everything from the premium earphones, travel pack, FM transmitter, and dock to the sync cable, wireless remote, A / V cable, and car charger that we've known were on the way, we're just glad we can finally match a face with a name. Although none of the Microsoft-branded accessories are priced or available for pre-order, the Zunes themselves certainly are (in all three colors, no less) for those who aren't feeling lucky. Say, doesn't that dock connector look awfully familiar?
[Thanks, Darryl]
