You have just a few more hours to score your very own Adult Swim Zune on eBay. Sure, it's basically a normal Zune with a logo and preloaded content, but there are only 500 in the world. 500!!!
Ironically, this limited edition Zune is currently fetching less than a new, regular $249 version. But there are still a few hours less at the time of this publication, so who knows? It could go for millions.

I was interested in the Halo 3 preview event at Foreign Cinema this weekend. But when Noah went to the NY event hours earlier and came back with Halo 3 edition Zune photos, it increased my interest by a great amount. No biggie. Zune.
But when I got there, the new grey with blue doubleshot colorscheme was too nice to pass up, and that screen, well, I always had a thing for the Zune's big screen. So I felt I had to shoot something. Without proper videocam, what you have here is a test of the Sony Ericsson w880i's capabilities in relatively low light, and noisy conditions. It ain't no Cybershot. What you have here is the World's Shittiest Halo 3 Edition Zune. BTW, it was preloaded with photos of Master Chief.
There's still no word on whether these are a limited private run like the 1/500 Cartoon Network Zune, or a real run that citizens and Halo fanboys can buy. – Brian Lam

There was a little surprise for everyone today at the Halo 3 preview in NYC: A special edition Halo 3 Zune. It's due out in mid-June. Wish I could have shown you some pictures of the box, which is emblazoned with Master Chief, but it was all hidden behind thick glass.–Noah Robischon

This is awesome.
Let's start some rumors - it's the new Zune retro speaker dock. As an aside, just found this blog. Really fun from a history geek standpoint.

Unfortunately, this is really only for users who have Windows Vista :(
So this morning I received an email form Chris, who pointed me to this really cool Windows Vista sidebar gadget. Essentially this gadget acts just like a music player in the side bar, that looks and behaves just like the Zune .
So there [...]

In case you're interested in yet another unsubstantiated image (e.g. ZOMG PHOTOSHOPPED / faaaake / etc.) of future Zune firmware builds, here's a couple more shots. Apparently WiFi syncing still isn't in the cards, but the source that sent these along notes that WiFi encryption will work, as will subscription, but you can't send it to another player until you sync back to your PC. Sounds kind of annoying -- so we're not ruling it out.Continue reading More Zune beta WiFi download shots

I have had an Xbox 360 since they came out in Aus, and I am really happy with it, games are great, UI is awesome and last night it just got a bit better with the Spring update. The main thing added here for me was the .mov file support, meaning all the podcasts that [...]

We're not sure when Zunes got discounted, but it seems like Amazon, Circuity City and Best Buy all have all four colors of the Zune (black, white, brown, pink) for $219. They all list them as after "$30 savings", which we suppose has been passed on down from Microsoft. Interesting, seeing as the Zune 2 rumors are just starting to heat up. – Jason Chen

Apparently a Zune “tipster” sent in a picture of a Zune with the beta build of firmware v1.4 (shown as 2.1.4). Now the interesting thing with this is that the tipster goes onto say that the Zune will now be able to connect to wireless hotspots and and download new content with Microsoft points (just [...]

Samsung is tossing their hat into the ring of HD Radio with an announcement that they will be developing chipsets for this up-and-coming radio format. This is pretty significant because the chips being developed by Samsung are of the low-power and low-cost variety, therefore HD Radio may be able to tap a market that it has yet to grasp: portability. This expands the previous limitations of HD Radio and could allow for portable HD Radio receiver and even implementation into cellphones and other portable devices (Zune?). –Travis Hudson
